What is cervical dysplasia

What is cervical dysplasia? Cervical dysplasia may be caused by congenital dysplasia, cervicitis, cervical gland cysts, cervical polyps, and ectopic cervical columnar epithelium.

Congenital dysplasia

Cervical dysplasia may be caused by congenital dysplasia. Congenital cervical dysplasia may lead to shortening of the length of the cervical canal or abnormal position of the cervical opening, resulting in infertility symptoms. Patients can be treated with drugs such as progesterone capsules and dexamethasone tablets under doctor's guidance, or through cervical cerclage surgery.

Cervicitis

Cervicitis is an inflammation of the cervix, vagina and cervical mucosa, which may be caused by neglect of sexual hygiene, vaginal flora disorders and other factors. Due to inflammation stimulation, patients may develop cervical dysplasia. Patients are advised to use drugs such as levofloxacin hydrochloride capsule and azithromycin capsule for treatment under doctor's guidance.

Cervical Adenocyst

Cervical gland cysts may be caused by obstruction of cervical gland secretion drainage. When the size of cervical gland cyst is small, there is usually no obvious discomfort. However, as the disease progresses, symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge and abnormal vaginal bleeding may occur. Patients are advised to use medications such as ceftriaxone sodium and cefixime for anti-infective treatment under doctor's supervision. If necessary, patients can also undergo hysteroscopic surgery.

Cervical polyps

Cervical polyps are localized hyperplasia of the cervical glands and stroma that protrude towards the external opening of the cervix to form polyps. Symptoms such as abnormal vaginal bleeding, increased vaginal discharge and menstrual disorders may occur. Patients are advised to undergo polypectomy under the guidance of the doctor for treatment. After the operation, patients need to pay attention to keep the external genitalia clean and hygienic to avoid infection.

Cervical columnar epithelial ectasia

Cervical columnar epithelial ectasia refers to the migration of columnar epithelium from the opening of the cervical canal outward to the opening of the cervical canal, which may be caused by high hormone levels, medication stimulation and other factors leading to cervical dysplasia. Patients can be treated with medications such as Uterine Blood Ning Capsules and Gynecological Advance Tablets under doctor's supervision.
