What is kundalini yoga
What is kundalini yoga?Kundalini Yoga is a combination of body, mind and spiritual practices designed to develop strength, awareness and personality, to elevate one's consciousness and to connect with the consciousness of the Infinite God. It is regarded as the highest stage of yoga and meditation and aims to tap into the creative spiritual potential of human beings, hold values, remain authentic and have compassion and awareness for the service and healing of others.
One of the core concepts of Kundalini Yoga is Kundalini energy. Kundalini means “curl” in Sanskrit and symbolizes a tangible life force that exists in the human body in the form of a snake, usually curled up at the end of the spine in a state of slumber. Through the practice of yoga, this sleeping energy can be awakened and made to rise along the middle chakra, ultimately achieving the state of Brahman-Self Unity.
Kundalini Yoga practices include a variety of asanas, breath control and meditation techniques designed to activate and elevate the Kundalini energy. Through these practices, practitioners can experience profound changes in the body and mind, including enhanced energy flow, elevated mental states and the realization of higher states of consciousness.
Traditionally, each program includes chanting, warm-up, Kriya, relaxation, and meditation. The exercises may seem uncomplicated, but the more classic and simple the technique, the greater the wisdom it contains, and the more courage it takes to break through “self-imposed limitations”
